General Questions
Do you sell beer online?
No – only a catalog of our beers is available. Beer is available for sale in person only.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express online, and Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Cash in our tap room.
I do not wish to use my credit card, are there alternatives?
We only accept credit card payments online. You can pay with Cash at the tap room.
Ordering
Is my order subject to tax?
We are obligated to charge sales tax for all sales being delivered to California addresses. We do not charge sales tax for sales in other states.
How do I know that my order has been received?
You will receive a confirmation email within moments after your order is received and your payment information is confirmed.
How do I view the status of my order?
You will be asked to create an account with a username and password when you order. You can log into our site with that information and click the “My Orders” link at the top of the page.
The item I want to purchase is sold out. What should I do now?
We do not allow back orders on sold out items. Please watch our website for the product going back on sale.
Where can I find my order history?
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your online order. You can review your orders online on your My Account page.
I need to change something on my order...
We would be happy to assist with your request to update your order if it has not already shipped. Please send us a message on our contact form. Let us know the order number you are referring to, and what you need changed. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can update your order as requested. Most orders ship within 24-hours but can take up to 48-hours to process.

How do I process an exchange?
If you have any questions about processing an exchange, please feel free to email us on our contact form (We do not cover the return shipping cost).
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship to the continental USA. We currently do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or outside the USA.
What shipping method do you use?
How do I track my order?
You will be emailed a tracking number when your order is packed and shipped. You can click the link in that email to track your shipment.
Domestic Shipping
We will choose a shipping courier at our discretion based on available rates for your region. Transit times are usually 2-5 business days. Potential delays may occur due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control. We do not offer guaranteed shipping dates.
Gift Cards
Do you sell Gift Cards?
We do sell gift cards on our online store that can be used at our physical Old Stump Brewing Store only. Gift cards can be mailed out to a preferred address. Shop for Gift Cards here!
Where can I use Old Stump Brewing gift cards?
Old Stump Brewing gift cards can be redeemed only at our tap room at this time. (In the future we may accept gift cards in our online store.) Just let the bartender or wait staff know that you’ll be paying with a gift card when you’re ready to check out!
How do I check the balance on my Gift Card
Email us via our contact form the code on the back of your gift card and we will email you the balance of your card.
Are Gift Cards Returnable?
Gift cards are not returnable or refundable or redeemable for cash.
Growler Fills
Does Old Stump sell Growlers?
Yes!
The first time you pay for the new bottle + the fill. Every visit thereafter after you only pay for the fill. So don’t lose or break it. Growlers are to-go only; not for on-premise consumption. On-premise includes the parking lot. Don’t do it…
Can Old Stump Fill Growlers From Other Breweries?
Yes, we can fill Growlers from other breweries… but state law requires that you obscure all identifying marks such as logos, brewery names, ABV, etc. (We can do that for you here in the tap room (for $2). Growlers must be of similar volume and quality as ours.)
Rinse your Growler with warm water immediately after use and let dry. Don’t bring it back smelling nasty.
Are There Refunds, Returns or Exchanges on Growlers?
Growlers are non-refundable/non-exchangeable/non-returnable. All sales are final. Thank you for understanding.
Retail Kegs
Does Old Stump Sell Kegs To The Public?
Yes, indeed we do sell our Kegs of both beers and seltzers to the public as well.
How Big Are Your Kegs?
We have 5 gallon and 31 gallon kegs for pickup at the brewery.
- 5 gallons equals 40 pints (16 oz)
- 31 gallons equals 124 pints (16 oz)
What Beers Are Available In Kegs?
Most beers and seltzers are available to purchase in a keg. Beers and seltzers are subject to availability; to help ensure you get what you want, please reserve at least a few weeks in advance.
Does Old Stump Rent Keg Pumps?
Party pumps are available to rent if needed. Each keg/party pump is subject to a refundable deposit of $100 and must be returned within 30 days.
How Do I Order A Keg?

Kegs are available for pick-up during tap room hours.
Wholesale Kegs
Does Old Stump Offer Kegs Wholesale to Restaurants and Bars?
Wholesale pricing is available for licensees. To open an account, or inquire about availability and pricing, please fill out our contact form.
Private Events
Can I Hold My Private Event at Old Stump Brewing Co?
Yes! We have a private room (The Tree of Trust) which hosts approx 65 people. The space can be extended to our back patio for larger parties which is shared space.
We have limited availability for private events due to high demand. Please email us if you’re interested in hosting your special event via our Contact form.
What Does It Cost To Host A Private Event At Old Stump?
The rate to rent the Tree of Trust room for an-hour event starts at $275 (3 hour min.) Which includes set up and tear down. The rate is adjusted based on the number of staff that needs to be onsite, security needs, additional time for the event, and special considerations (i.e. hosted private pouring station tap, food, extensive decorations, etc.).
Please note that the rental rate does not include beer. Standard pricing applies for the beer, and can either be charged to an ongoing tab if the bar is hosted, or individual tabs can be started for guests. Cash sales are also accepted.
Can I Bring Outside Alcohol To My Private Event At Old Stump?
We encourage guests to drink the beers that we have available in the tap room. (After all, you are having a party at a brewery…) Our ABC license allows us to pour our beer only, so sorry, no wine or spirits can be brought in (strictly enforced).

Food at the Brewery
Does Old Stump Serve Food?
We do not have a kitchen at the brewery, we just make beer here. However we bring food trucks to the brewery every day. We encourage responsible drinking and want you to fill that belly with something other than beer too, so buy from the food truck.

Does Old Stump Have Music?
Yes! On weekends and special days, we have live bands playing on our patio stage. On other days, our resident DJ cues up the tunes.

Children & Pets
Are Children And Pets Allowed At Old Stump?
Children and pets are welcome. Please help us keep everyone’s experience awesome by cleaning up after them, not letting them run around, and keep them supervised at all times. Pets must be on a leash and held at all times. Certified Service Animals are always welcome.
